Constant temperature metal bath, dry thermostat is a constant temperature metal bath product manufactured by microcomputer control and semiconductor refrigeration technology. Protein denaturation, PCR reaction, pre-denaturation of electrophoresis and serum coagulation, etc.

Check before starting

The power cord plug has been reliably inserted into the power socket, and the power cord is grounded reliably.

temperature setting

(1) Turn on the power switch, all indicator lights and digital tubes are on. After about 5 seconds, the number displayed on the instant temperature display window (PV) is the instant temperature of the metal module, and the number displayed on the set temperature display window (SV) is the last used set temperature.

(2) Press the (SET/SET) button once, and the leftmost number of the setting temperature display window (SV) will flash. Use the up and down keys to change the flashing number to the desired value.

(3) Press the (SET/SET) key again, move the flashing digit to the right one place, and use the up and down keys to change the flashing digit until it reaches the desired value.

(4) Press the (SET/SET) button again, the flashing number moves to the right by one place, and also use the up and down keys to change the flashing number until the desired value, and complete the temperature setting work. Or press the (SET/SET) key again to restart the setting from the left.

(5) 8 seconds after the temperature setting is completed, the digital flickering phenomenon disappears, indicating that the machine system enters the running state and operates according to the currently set temperature value.

Precautions

The constant temperature metal bath produced by Shanghai Five-Phase Instrument, also known as dry thermostat, the key points that users need in the operation process are:

(1) Before and after each use, the cone hole of the module must be cleaned with a cotton swab dipped in distilled water to ensure that the test tube is in full contact with the cone hole wall.

(2) In the process of setting a new temperature, the local system still operates according to the last set temperature value, until the SV window stops flashing numbers.

(3) If the difference between the displayed temperature (PV) and the temperature measured by the third party is more than 0.1℃, contact the custodian of the machine for temperature error correction.

(4) In the process of using the instrument, it is forbidden to press the (calibration/ADJ) key.

(5) If the experiment operation at 4°C is used for more than 4 hours, the condensed water of the module must be removed. The method is: unplug the power plug to cut off the power supply, then unscrew the two black knobs on the module, take out the module, use a soft cloth to remove the condensed water on each contact surface, and then install and reset the module.
