Analysis of several key factors causing damage to the vibrating screener

The vibrating screener is one of the most commonly used equipment, but sometimes the working environment of the vibrating screener is relatively harsh during use, and there will be fever, burnout, etc., which will cause damage to the vibrating screener in terms of design. What are the reasons?

1. Improper choice of bearing and bearing seat hole

The tolerance of the bearing and the bearing seat hole is the key point in the design. If a larger interference fit is selected, the shape of the bearing raceway will be forced to geometrically deform, causing abnormal vibration during operation; if a larger clearance fit is selected, the outer ring of the bearing will slide relatively in the bearing seat hole, causing the bearing to heat up rapidly and be damaged. .

Solution: Select a reasonable fit tolerance. The inner ring of the bearing and the shaft are fitted with a loose transition fit or clearance fit tolerance, and the outer ring and the bearing seat hole are fitted with a tight transition or a slightly smaller interference fit tolerance.

2. The expansion and contraction of the shaft is not considered in the design

The operating temperature of the exciter is generally 35-60 ℃, and the expansion and contraction of the shaft due to thermal expansion and cold contraction cannot be ignored.

Solution: Design one end of the bearing as a transition or clearance fit, so that the exciter shaft can slide relative to the inner ring during thermal expansion and contraction.

3. Unreasonable bearing selection

The use type, limit speed, installation size, clearance, self-lubricating performance and other requirements of bearings are relatively high, and ordinary bearings are easily damaged under harsh working conditions. If the bearing is not properly selected at the beginning of the design, the bearing life will be shorter.

Solution: choose special bearings. Commonly used vibrating screen bearings generally include cylindrical roller bearings and spherical roller bearings. Both have large radial bearing capacity, the former also bears higher limit rotational speed, and has strong bearing capacity for dynamic and static loads, but requires higher coaxiality of the bearing seat hole; the latter has good self-aligning performance and can compensate for Different shaft problems caused by bearing seat hole machining, but cannot bear pure axial load.

4. The design of lubricating and sealing structure is unreasonable

At present, many exciter bearings in China use grease lubrication and labyrinth seal structure, and the sealing gap is generally 1-2mm. However, in actual use, as the temperature of the exciter bearing increases, the viscosity of the grease gradually decreases, the spindle rotates at a high speed, and the grease in the labyrinth cover leaks continuously from the labyrinth cover, which eventually causes the bearing to be damaged due to lack of lubrication.

Due to the unreasonable design of the lubrication and sealing structure and the insufficient lubrication of the bearing, it is the main reason that the bearing is deformed and burned due to heat.

Vibrating screener solution: use thin oil lubrication to improve the lubrication channel and improve the sealing structure. At present, many manufacturers adopt the structure of thin oil circulating lubrication, labyrinth seal combined with other non-contact seals.
