Compressor in a cryogenic bath Annotation The compressor is one of the important components in a cryogenic bath, and its working principle is mainly based on the relationship between pressure volume and temperature in physics. When the mass of the gas is constant, the product of pressure and volume is a constant. Therefore, to double the pressure per unit mass of gas, it must reduce its volume by half. All cryostat compressors are compressed according to this principle.


Generally speaking, there are several physical ways to achieve gas compression: the relatively static gas compression volume changes and the path of the flowing gas changes.


1. Relatively static gas volume changes. Such as live race compressors, rolling rotor compressors, screw compressors, etc.


2. The path of the flowing gas changes, such as scroll compressors, jet compressors. For example, the fully enclosed compressor unit is used for refrigeration, and the refrigeration system has multiple protection devices for overheating and overcurrent. There are two condensate water inlet and outlet nozzles next to it. The imported high-quality water pump is used as the circulating power in the water tank, which solves the problem of uneven warm water, so that the temperature control accuracy and water uniformity of the instrument can meet higher requirements.


This product can be circulated inside and outside. Use a latex tube to connect the two water inlet and outlet pipes to be used for internal circulation. Remove the latex tube and connect the two water pipes to the water inlet and outlet of the reactor to form an external circulation. Only the copper water pipe is the water outlet pipe connected to the pump, and the other is the water inlet pipe. Please be careful not to connect it wrongly when connecting, so as to prevent the water from flowing backwards when the machine is turned on.


Cryogenic bath components and internal operating principles


1. Low temperature thermostatic tank components: compressor, condenser, evaporator, fan (internal and external) circulating water pump, stainless steel inner tank, heating pipe, intelligent temperature control meter.


2. The internal operating principle of the low-temperature tank: after the compressor operates, it will undergo suction-compression-exhaust-condensation-throttle-re-low-temperature evaporation to absorb heat and vaporize. The water temperature is reduced to the temperature set by the temperature control table, such as temperature control. The table set temperature is higher than normal temperature. The contactor in the temperature control meter works automatically, and the current signal is given to the heating tube, and the heating tube starts to work, when the low temperature thermostat works. The inlet and outlet of the whole machine can be used for internal or external circulation of the water source in the machine, and the water source in the machine can also be led to the outside. A second constant temperature field is made outside the cryostat.


[1] How to use the low temperature thermostat This instrument uses 220V AC power supply, please make sure that the rated current of the power socket is not less than 10A before use, and has a safety grounding device (please connect the grounding device in the working room when using it). When adding water, please pay attention to not less than 8cm from the upper cover. Soft water must be used, preferably distilled water. Do not use hard water such as well water, river water, spring water, etc., to prevent the heating tube from bursting and affecting the constant temperature sensitivity. Please follow the instruction manual of the temperature control instrument to use correctly. To set the required temperature value, first turn on the power supply, and set the required temperature value on the instrument according to the instruction manual. When the temperature reaches the set temperature, you can turn on the cycle switch, so that all The program enters the normal working state.


Precautions for use


1. Add liquid medium into the front tank of the low temperature constant temperature bath, and the liquid level of the medium should be about 30mm lower than the worktable, otherwise the heater will be damaged when it is powered on;


2. The selection of the liquid medium in the low temperature constant temperature tank should comply with the following principles: when the working temperature is 5~85℃, the liquid medium is generally water; when the working temperature is 85~95℃, the liquid medium can be 15% glycerin aqueous solution; When the working temperature is higher than 95℃, oil is generally used as the liquid medium, and the open cup flash point of the selected oil should be higher than the working temperature by more than 50℃;


3. Power supply: 220V50Hz, the power of the power supply should be greater than the total power of the instrument, and the power supply must have a good grounding device;


4. The instrument should be placed in a dry and ventilated place, and there are no obstacles within 300mm around the instrument;


5. When the working temperature of the constant temperature tank is high, you should be careful not to open the upper cover, and do not enter the tank with your hands to prevent burns;


6. After use, turn off all switches and cut off the power supply; the instrument should be cleaned regularly to keep the work surface and operation panel clean; often pay attention to observe the liquid level in the tank. When the liquid level is too low, it should be Add liquid medium in time; considering the safety factor, we stipulate that the constant temperature bath above 100℃ should be made into internal circulation.
